Snapshots from Verona

Snapshots from Verona
It felt like we picked the hottest day ever to go to Verona! We arrived around 11 am and it was already super hot. We were 8 people from the castle on this little trip so there wasn’t that much sightseeing being done. But it was too hot for that anyways.

We parked the car near Arena di Verona which also was out first sightseeing stop. The Arena is a Roman amphitheatre and was built in the first century, so it is really old. They still have big opera performances here during the night. I have never been to an opera, but I think it would be a super cool experience to see one here.

The Arena is located on the Piazza Brà.
Next stop, Castelvecchio bridge.
 Beautiful streets everywhere.
Juliet’s house and balcony.
Piazza delle Erbe.

Piazza dei Signori.

View over Ponte Pietra and more beautiful streets.

That’s what we managed to squeeze in on our day in Verona. It really is a beautiful city and a place I  have to visit again, in another season…
